About Us · Who We Are

Family-Owned Roofers Protecting Tampa Bay Since 1993

Duralast Roofing and Construction started with a family, a truck, and a promise to do the job right. Three decades later, we're still at the same Walsingham Road office in Largo, the local crew rather than the out-of-town chain.

From shingle, tile, metal, and flat roofs to commercial work and solar, we match the right system to Florida's sun, wind, and rain. And we're known for honest assessments: if a repair is the right answer, we'll tell you.

Our Licenses

Three Licenses. One Accountable Contractor.

Many companies can put shingles on a roof. Very few hold the state credentials to handle the roof, the structure beneath it, and the electrical and solar systems on top of it. Duralast does, which means one licensed, insured, code-trained team is accountable for your entire project from deck to grid.

Certified Roofing Contractor
License No. CCC1332588

Issued by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation through the Construction Industry Licensing Board, the CCC credential is the state's highest roofing license. It authorizes us to install, repair, and replace roofs of unlimited size and type anywhere in Florida.

  • Shingle, tile, metal, flat, and commercial roof systems
  • Statewide certification, not just a local registration
  • Crews trained on Florida Building Code wind uplift and HVHZ standards
  • Requires proven field experience, board exams, and financial solvency
Certified Building Contractor
License No. CBC1265788

Our CBC license, also issued by the Florida DBPR, qualifies us for full construction work beyond the roofline. That matters when a project uncovers rotted decking or trusses, or when your plans include more than a roof.

  • Structural repairs to decking, fascia, soffits, and framing
  • Home additions, remodeling, and roof enclosures
  • Aluminum patio roofs and flood panel installation
  • No second contractor needed when hidden damage is found mid-job
Electrical & Solar Contractor
License No. [INSERT EC/CVC NUMBER]

As a licensed electrical and solar contractor, our Duralast Roofing and Solar division designs and installs complete rooftop solar systems and handles the electrical work that goes with them, all under one roof with our roofing crews.

  • Grid-tied solar design, installation, removal, and reinstallation
  • Inverter and battery storage system wiring
  • Utility interconnection paperwork and electrical permits
  • Roofers-first approach: every solar job starts with a roof evaluation

Verify us yourself. Every Florida contractor license can be checked in seconds at myfloridalicense.com. We encourage you to look up any contractor before they touch your home, including us. Our licenses are also registered with the Pinellas County Construction Licensing Board, and we carry full liability and workers' compensation insurance on every job.
